The beginning is a look at the globe of images, 280 images slowly revolving. Click on a window of interest and a six sided cube
comes out to you with more images that you can click on to reveal a file of information, written, audio, visual that will lead you to
other windows. It has no ending.

The whole thing is for everybody to be part of a better world by getting together. Its a college, a game, a stage, a club or whatever you want or need. Just give it imput, feedback or better a lot of feedforward...

The official languages are Images, English and Chinese. Images are international more effective and powerful.

Guides or suggested rules will be forthcoming and changed frequently by users. There will be sponsored and unsponsored competitions some with rules some without.

It is an image bank and an information bank where you can make deposits and withdrawals freely and comunicate with
others as you do this.

Awards of various kinds and sizes will be given periodically to particularly interesting ideas, concepts designs and directions.

The name Ecoland was developed in 1978 by Marshal McLuhan and David Greenberg. It was coined for the name of a television project for KCET in LA and PBS. The themes of the tv series was based on a book by M. McLuhan had coauthored called "City as Classroon" with his son Eric. As well as the arcvhives of Envrironmental Communications a leading producer and distributor of Architectural, Environmental, Design and Ecological information at the time.

The name Ecoscape has come from Prof. Wang Ru Song in Beijing who heads the ecological division of The Chinese Academy of Sciences. His work and ambition for understanding the manner of man built ecosystems has been and will be very important of the West and the East coming together for Ecoland-Ecoscape.
